You’re Cordially Invited! Best Comedy Film Of 2025 Review
Best Comedy To Watch In 2025
I watched this film a couple of weeks ago, and so far I’ve recommended it to a couple of people, especially as we were still coming out of Winter & feeling a little blue. Now the sun is shining, but still, come rain or shine YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE. It’s insanely funny, from start to finish. And let’s get into the review…
- One of Will Ferrell’s BEST ROLES
- Great Duo with Reese Wetherspoon
- Other Characters shone throughout
- Romance, & Family Dynamics
- Character From Mariah Careys Video
- Multicultural & multi cast movie
- Positive storyline for all ages 13+
Due to mild swearing or cursing (just a few times) sexual word. This may not be suitable for children, or cover their ears/cough. Most of the film is pretty tame, and just like any typical family gathering, sparks certainly fly.
Synopsis
The character of the Wedding Planner – Sister Reese Wetherspoon is a city girl who is feeling unsure about her Mother, the venue, and the family’s usual way of disrupting things. She wants her sisters day to be perfect, & special. But seems to be filled with some kind of bitterness, or obscured view. Plus the mother (Mother of the Bride) I actual brutal at times.
Meanwhile, Will Farrell plays an overbearing Dad (and widow) who acts like a teenager, and doesn’t really want to see his daughter get married so soon. He isn’t a teenager. But like all single parents, we tend to talk like our children once in a while, as they are the most company we have.
Planning weddings can be problematic, stressful, and very expensive & costly. So with the bookings already made, there is no way of cancelling…
You just have to get through the wedding(s) with this hilarious bunch.
Summary
This film is so well filmed, you feel like you’re actually at the wedding. And that is your own extended family getting into it with a bunch of strangers. (Yes all families do). ABSOLUTE NON STOP ENTERTAINMENT. I literally got attached to the characters, they were so well thought out and written. Watching the film twice, and a third time for the best clips. Watch it with someone you love, or everyone you love. Rating: 10/10
